Did Tamils contribute to India's freedom?
When we consider India's freedom struggle, we see it's been dominated by North Indians like Netaji, Ghandi, Nehru, Savarkar, and so many other charismatic and towering personalities. If at all there were Tamils (such as Rajaji), they were usually playing second fiddle to NI politicians.
So is it reasonable to conclude that aside from a few people, Tamils did nothing for India's freedom? If so, isn't it unfair on the part of tamils to demand any kind of recognition for their language, culture etc.?

Ignorance? Arrogance? Ignorance of Indian history which includes Tamil Nadu? Arrogance born out of the broadmindedness of Tamils all over the world?
Eager to watch the trends of the world & to nurture in the youth who carry the future world on their shoulders a right sense of values.
