After you mentioned "whistling", I realize Saibaba's part in the song.
"chErikkuL" is not a violent situation. I did not phrase it correctly in my original post. The union is consentual. The young woman has an arragement with the zamindar. And the villagers want her to break off that relationship. That is expressed in the lyrics.

RR, The song fails to sustain my attention , Aesthetic sense ooda podalainna, I don't care.

Counterpoint, bass section etc.. all secondary.

I love those Ever popular songs like andhi mazhai..., kanney kalai maaney..etc. Scream LOVE YOU RAAJA & get back to those nostalgic days and wrap up the fellow!

niththam niththam is a SPB song with raghuvaran lipsynching... I believe it was hosted before. But still worth it.
