Yeah lots of amateur DJs use it....

I think its a "dancehall riddim".

Anyways, ARR can use common loops and come up with extraordinary songs. E.g. Poo Pookum Oasai from Minsara Kanavu. The beats were inspired from a Disney song or something. The tune is original ofcourse.
