Sakkarakatti – Spectacular visuals
http://www.indiaglitz.com/channels/t...cle/39999.html
A noteworthy point worth mentioning is that 'Sakkarakatti' starring Santhanoo has song sequences that have tremendous visuals developed by Ocher Studios in Chennai owned by Soundarya Rajinikanth.
The song 'Chinnama' shows the hero fighting Egyptian Mummies as he walks through a deep mountain valley. This song reportedly jells with the attitude of the protagonist. There are other sequences that depict fireballs being bombarded onto a meadow. All the 'graphics' part have come out in a spectacular manner making the entire unit of 'Sakkarakatti' very happy. Two songs were screened at the recently held audio launch function. A. R. Rahman's music is indeed the highlight of the film and all the songs have come good.
There are also reports that suggest certain sets that have been erected resembling the 'Van Helsing' effect. Another special effect includes a twister in all its angry might.
A. R. Rahman and Ocher Studios might just be the right foil for some spectacular entertainment.

guys when we heard taxi taxi promos, many people here were saying the beat is popular. thanks to an anti-arr in yfg who showed a song with the same beat, many new things came to the surface. taxi taxi belongs to a genre called Reggaeton. And in order for a song to be classified as this genre, it must have that beat, thats the reason why the beat is so popular and many of us had that heard before feeling.
more on Reggaeton: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reggaeton
a popular song in that genre: http://youtube.com/watch?v=WD81Clgmr90
http://youtube.com/watch?v=62cnG_Al9qY
if u noticed in the above two songs, the beat is the same with different instruments to produce that beat. ARR has done the same, the beat is the same but he has added the Rahman instruments to make the beats. I LOVE TAXI TAXI!

Mahen, I agree, Chinnamma from Meenaxi was fantastically picturized. Very lively choreography and Steadicam work.

I hate the attitude of some of the members at ARRYG. Every time someone says copied or lifted, they become frantic and violent, literally trying to tear the person apart. And most of them become deaf when someone accuses ARR of plagiarism but the same ears become amplified when the opposite happens. These people post like they want to threaten and silence the accuser so that he won't talk about this to a 3rd person.
Most of these 'faniacs' just want to impress ARR since they know there is a possibility of him becoming aware of their posts through Vijay Iyer.
But there are some good souls too, like the explainer in thineshan's post. They take their own time and explain to the accuser, the reason for the similarity. That is the attitude these so called faniacs should have.
