Not that it matters, but EVK got released and I've seen it in theater
Possibly ran only for a few days. Pratap Pothen was a kudisai dweller wearing jeans playing guitar, organizing concert etc (in 80's) and such similar abaththams

Well said kiru. As I had pointed in another thread earlier, the dhool.com site has some lovely articles by Saravan which talks about songs from movies of IR that were never released and the tunes are amazing. I am with you in looking at this man with amazement for what he is still doing and is still capable of doing.

Valmiki review on rediff:
http://movies.rediff.com/review/2009...iki-review.htm
"Ennada Pandi? is trademark Ilaiyaraja, and the maestro shines in the background score too. Editing is neat."
thanks,

Ananthanarayanan on his movie Valmiki:
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/R...ow/4715831.cms
"Valmiki’s music, which has been scored by maestro Ilaiyaraaja, has impressed audiences. Says the director, “I am a fan of Illaiyaraaja’s music. I strongly believe that no one can surpass him when it comes to transforming emotions into music. My favourite song is Ennada Pandi..."
thanks,

Nee Indri Naan Illai
Uday Kiran and Meera Jasmine are coming together in Nee Indri Naan Illai, which has been penned by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. The film is directed by Ilavenil and produced under the banner of Nandhini Arts.
The music is composed by maestro Ilayaraja with lyrics by Vairamuthu and Pa. Vijay.
Thalaivasal Vijay, Manorama, Ganja Karuppu and Kovai Sarala are also in the cast. Kannan is the cinematographer of the film, which is expected to be launched soon.

I'd be too happy if IR does not waste his energy on another film by ILavEnil, after the disastrous picturizations of uLiyin Osai
Totally tasteless with abysmally low knowledge on how to make a film visually appealing. Hopefully, the presence of VM will negate an IR participation here.

Itsmuls,
Some sites say that its by IR, but I dont think its by IR. I had posted a link sometime back on this. If I am not wrong, the music is by Deva.
I don't think media will keep their eyes closed when IR and Vairamuthu unites!
Thanks,
Krishnan
