That's R D Bhaskar (IR's brother). He later owned 'Pavalar creations' that produced the hit movies 'alaigal Oyvathillai', 'kOzhi koovuthu', 'rAjAthi rAjA'. He is not alive now and I think his son is a film director and is married to a girl from Deva's family That means, in a way, IR & Deva are sambandhees!
It's interesting to see YGM with the drums (abaswaram Ramji used to claim that only his troup & IR's owned that kind of drums those days and a-R MDed the movie where YGM played the lead role, Kamal danced for the song 'kAmanukku kAman, kAdhalukku mAman')

R D Bhaskar .. This should interest plum for a cine quiz in the TF section . The film director you mentioned, I think , just think that it might be the guy who directed Bambara kannaaley -.. OK got it now.. His name is Parthi Bhaskar ... RD B has one more son by name Hari Bhaskar and he was scheduled to make his debut in the tamil films with his brother Parthi as director.. not sure what happened to that project though.
