I think Kameshratnam meant side actors not "character" actors. My take is when he mentions the likes of KK Soundar and SS, we should be talking of Peeli Sivams not Baliahs and MR Radhas

I think we should look at those fun candidates who pongufy more than kodutha kaasu at side actor level. Again that rules out AVM Rajan, because he was doing the same at main actor or main character actor level.
