Shankar Mahadevan is as usual with his voice.

I had the opposite reaction to the song. Couldn't stand her voice here. I much prefer Ranjha Ranjha.

I just noticed that there's an extra verse in Thok De Killi that is not in the Tamil version, Kodu Poatta. It comes at 3:43 in the song.

Sehte sehte ab to gardan ghar tak tar jaate hain
Choti ho gayi khabarein, bin mundi bhi marr jaate hain
Sadiyon se chalta aaya hai ooch neech ka lambha kissa
Ab ki vaar hisaab chuka le, cheen ke le le apna hissa
Apna khoon bhi laal hi hoga, khol ke dekh le khaal ke jhilli

Sure enough, I checked the running times, and Thok De Killi is about 15 seconds longer.

After listening to both Tamil and Hindi versions many many many times I conclude that the Hindi version is easily better. There is much more emotion behind the singers' performances and lyrics seem to flow better.

Yeah I might go down and see the stars going in. Never done the "screaming fan at the red carpet" thing. I wonder if ARR will be there, it's right in the middle of his tour.

I'm hoping they'll give out tickets for the screening itself too.
