Kanika to act opposite Ajith?

Kanika, who made her debut in Five Star, and later played the wife of Cheran in Autograph is likely to pair with Ajith in his forthcoming project Godfather. In this film directed by K.S.Ravikumar, Ajith plays a triple role for the first time. He plays father, son and a eunuch. Buzz has it that Kanika will be paired with the father Ajith in the film.
Asin plays opposite to son Ajith. The highlight of the movie is its music as AR.Rahman returns to Tamil after a gap.

His only release last year was Ji and it was not anything worth writing home about. He made more news off screen with his verbal spat in the media. His projects were stalled due to one or the other bottlenecks. Suddenly, he declared that he would also like to concentrate on his other passion – motor racing. Such unpredictable behaviour does not go down well with the bosses in the industry. Finally deciding to stick to films, he started working under K.S. Ravikumar in Godfather. NIC Arts, the producers now have some finance problems and have asked the film to be rescheduled after September this year. So, he has given bulk dates for director Bala’s Naan kadavul. Ajit in a dilemma!

The Godfather continues to haunt Ajit. The film requires a minimum of at least 35 days to complete the talkie portion and three songs are remaining to be shot.
Producer Nic Arts Chakravarthy and director K.S.Ravikumar are all out to raise funds to resume shoot on 20th June. The artist’s dates are in total mess with Asin unable to dole out dates. She has made it clear that the earliest she can give dates is by August end!

More trouble comes for Ajit with the distributors and producers association making it clear that he can start work on next film (for director Bala) only after he completes work on Godfather!

Ajith plays a triple role in Godfather. For the senior role, Nadia had initially agreed to be the pair. But she backed out later. Many actresses when approached declined with a difficult smile. Why? The senior Ajith is a transvestite character. Finally, the Five star girl Kaniha has agreed to do the role.

im not sure man...but i got a news GF audio will release next week...so i think the date 20 prabably might be true...it seems they wanna release after Anniyan movie....lets see whether the news i got is true or not....GF songs r very very different it seems....
