Hereafter, i am not going to read what the critics say. This movie is certainly watchable but for the climax.

Watching A Bronx Tale
Bobby De Niro direction
The film is similar to Goodfellas in a way that A kid in a rough Italian Bronx neighbourhood takes a liking to the Mafia early in his life. A very crisp film. Bobby acted well as the Kid's father(No surprises there). Chazz Palminteri did a great job as Sonny. Good effort by everyone.

Based on Chazz Palminteri's one man play, which was based on his childhood. De Niro's Scorcese influence is very clear here.

Cache, once again. seriyAna maNdai, this Haneke.
I distinctly remember see a video clip of the most "shocking" scene of the film being sent/played by someone, but it's not actually there. Goes well with the concept of the film :P
This time, without the i-too-dissect-films baggage, i tend to think it is Majid's son. This particular dialogue he says, I wondered how it feels, a man's life on your conscience, seems to be placed carefully.
Did anyone else find the scene between the lead and his mother brilliant? Nothing much going on in that one, but the way it's staged and played..!
And the actor who plays Majid

Watched Raging Bull - Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci were too good. The boxing scenes were very realistic. Cathy Moriarty was really charming in her role. Was surprised to know that she did not make it that big after such a wonderful debut. Overall, a very good movie from Scorcese.
I'm ready for Cape Fear next.
