i am not saying surya cannot overtake kamal. same goes for vikram. i mean, if kamal lingers around, then peple will only talk about kamal. even if surya acted better in RC, or Vikram acted better in Anniyan, they will still say Kamal acts better. It is true, but if kamal stops being hero, then focus will shift to them. then their talents will be appreciated.

some more, after dasavatharam(mindblowing acting from kamal hassan), kamal has lost his touch. i think he spent everthing in that movei. so it wil be good if kamal retires and let's next person take his place, like sivaji retired and let kamal take his place.

One sumaal kostin. After 10A he acted in just 2 movies - UPO & MMA. 2 movies eppadi-nga acting-le touch pOyirrum? I haven't seen MMA yet but UPO is very kood acting (though he didn't had much of a scope except in the climax)... Shah, the actor, played a common man. Haasar, the actor + star, played his own "heroic" version of a common man for BO appeal furfoses. Ambuthu thein diparant.

in UPO, kamal wasn not hero. mohan lal was hero. that kind of movie would suit kamal now. not MMA type. i saw MMA here, was something one does not expect from kamal. especially the last 30-40 mins, and the ending. made me feel why did I watch the whole movie for this ending? while UPO mde me feel this is good. kamal should do roles like this. would be good if he did movies like UPO with other heroes like surya. that would be a welcome change. if kamal is going to MMA route, then he should stop. he is brilliant writer, so he should stick to that. other reason is kamal is old now. how much longert he can actas hero? better he stops on the high. he shoudl done one more splendid movie like Dasa/VV, and then retire on that note and stick to UPO kind of movies. in my opinion, kamal the actor should rest while other talents of him should be utilised.
