    NDTV, for long, has been picking talents and successful people from several fields and honoring them with their famous 'Indian of the Year' awards that happen every year. This year, our very own ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth has been nominated for the Indian of the Year and the Entertainer of the Year award and the jury has chosen him as the winner, keeping in mind that tremendous success of Endhiran. It is notable that the Superstar has won the Entertainer of the Year award in 2008 too and looks like history is repeating itself.

    NDTV has announced awards for various other categories like social work, politics, entrepreneurship etc. The grand event is all set to happen tonight at Hotel Taj Palace in New Delhi and it is expected to be graced by some of the top guns in politics, entertainment and business fields in India. Rajinikanth is currently in Delhi and he will be there at the function to receive the award
