pAththi is the planting bed & nAththu is the crop. I think now it would be easy to decipher. The crop thrives only because of the planting bed. And she had a thought which is nourished only by her dreams and wishes.

Hearing 'oru devadhai vandhadhu' from 'Naan Solvadhe Sattam'. Nice Saranga based song. I don't recall hearing this earlier. Well sung by SPB and Asha Bhosle. (Not saying 'Asha Paati' as app_eng would say since that would make Usha angry
