Tamannaah was the first choice for Magadheera
Popular Tollywood producer Allu Aravind of the prestigious Geetha Arts recently made a striking revelation at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad during the press meet of his latest film, directed by Sukumar with Naga Chaitanya and Tamannaah in the lead.
He said that South India's hot and happening girl Tamannaah was the first choice for his recent blockbuster Magadheera, starring Ram Charan Teja in the lead.
Speaking to the media, Allu Arvind said: "I heard the subject two and half years ago. Whatever subject Sukumar prepares, he would first narrate it to me. So, I heard it even before his Arya. Sukumar narrated the story to Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya and both of them liked it. I saw Happy Days and booked Tamannaah's dates for Geeta Arts long back. Actually, we thought of Tamannaah as heroine for Magadheera, but it didn’t materialize for her." The role later went to Kajal Aggarwal.
Tamannaah, who was also present, said: "After a gap of one year, I am doing this straight film in Telugu. Mine is a performance-oriented role."
Sukumar said: "This subject is not tailor-made for any hero. But I did Arya 2 keeping Allu Arjun in mind. The performance of Naga Chaitanya in Yemaya Chesave was superb, and this prompted us to rope him in this romantic action film." Devi Sri Prasad will handle music. Cinematography is by Prasad and screenplay by Hari Prasad.

Naga Chaitanya-Tamannaah's next: I am No. 1
There were reports that young hero Naga Chaitanya’s ongoing film under the direction of Sukumar had been titled I Love You Mahalakshmi. But the latest buzz is that I am No. 1 is the title under consideration for this film.
This love story set in the backdrop of campus life is produced by Bunny Vasu under the banner of Geetha Arts. Tamannaah is the heroine. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. The film is currently in post-production and will be released this summer.

Tamannaah opposite Ram Charan?
Tamannaah is likely to be paired up with Ram Charan in his next film.
This Punjabi kudi is already been working in several big films including Allu Arjun's Badrinath and NTR, Surender Reddy film. Buzz is that director Sampath Nandi (of Emaindi Ee Vela fame) wants to cast Tamannaah as the heroine for his second film with Ram Charan in the lead.
Producer N V Prasad is to take the final call on this.
Currently, Tamannaah is the most sought after actress in Telugu film industry.
why is she not signing any tamil films?

She looks like a younger version of Madhuri Dixit. Looking great even without make up

Don't worry STL. Watch a few Telugu films and you'll be able to make out the language more or else. That's how I came to understand Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi...by watching films. If Tamannah can speak Telugu fluently after a few years in the industry, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to understand the language in no time as well

Thank God
The tamil version was a drag. And the girl who played the lead didn't have even an ounce of Tamannah's charm in HD. Glad Tamannah acted in the original version and not the remake. Happy Days is a film I wouldn't mind watching again and agai, thanks to the nonchalant acting of all the lead characters
