LM, That australian tour is lip-smacking no? Tendulkar vs Ponting - for perhaps the last time in international arena. Ponting's so far shaded most of their 1-1 encounters in Australia and in World Cups. Even this QF had Ponting emerging as the better batsman of the day.

I am kind of disappointed about touring Australia this year. We should have gone the year after we last went. We really deserved to be the ones to dethrone Aussie in australia instead of Saffers. And what's worse, if that didnt materialise we should have gone last year instead of England, when aussies were in disarray.

Instead, we are going to tour australia when they have a new captain and would have rebuilt the side by the end of this year. And Ricky with a Sachinesque revival. Scary!
And Eng/Aus idiots will keep throwing "What is your record in Aus" against us. It's all very unfair.

    Plum,

We have a lot of time before that tour. Honestly, I don't see Australia rebuilding under the captaincy of Clarke.

This year's biggest test will be to win/draw a series in England.
