Revisiting 2010 and 2011 songs of Maestro! Starting with that soaring trumpet followed by flute, Enekkena Oruthi still can't get out my mind. Mellifluous tune! The magical flute punctuations throughout the song takes it to next level. The interludes, specially second interlude is amazing! Eventhough this album is not talked highly here, I don't see this song and 'Manasoram' as just another song from Maestro. Definitely these two songs compares very well against Endukkamma, Poova Kelu or Mazhamega chelin IMHO.

Recently listened to the stunning shehnai sandwitched between flute in nillaadha vennilaa of aanazhagan. Is it chandrakouns?

Yes, oru naal iravu is sumanasarahjani indeed and this MSV composition is rated as the benchmark for this raga in tfm.
I feel oh vaanambaadi and yedho ninaivugal kanavugal to be in the same scale as sumanasaranjani. please confirm.

It's a P Jayachandran / S Janaki stunner from the Kamal movie kadal meengaL

There are two Kamals (father / son) and this one is for the father and his lady love, Sujatha.

Raja has reused the song from "Jhony" in the telugu movie "Chakravyuham".As always raja weaves his magic,by using the same template,in different situations and something which is very unique to him..
The situation is a "club dance" and the way raja has molded that tribal song,in this format, is just outstanding. I enjoyed this version of the song more than the original!!
