அசத்தலான நீல நிற சட்டை மற்றும் கறுப்பு நிற பேண்ட்டில் காணப்பட்ட ரஜினி சற்று இறுக்கமாக காணப்பட்டார். வாக்களித்த பின்னர் இரு கைகளையும் உயர்த்தி அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம் தெரிவித்தார். சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் வாக்களித்தபோது இருந்த கூட்டமும் பரபரப்பும் வேறு யாருக்கும் இல்லை என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

வீட்டு வாயிலில் ஹைட்லைன்ஸ் டுடே தொலைக்காட்சிக்கு அவர் அளித்த பேட்டியில் கூறியதாவது :

ஊழலுக்கெதிரான அண்ணா ஹசாரே உண்ணாநோன்பு மேற்கொண்ட போது, நானும் அவரை சென்று பார்ப்பதாக இருந்தேன். ஆனால் கடந்த சில நாட்களாக எனக்கு உடல்நிலை சரியில்லை. ஆகையால் சென்று சந்திக்கமுடியவில்லை. இருப்பினும் எனது ஆதரவு அவருக்கு உண்டு. ஊழலுக்கெதிராக தனியாக இயக்கம் ஆரம்பிக்க வேண்டியதில்லை. அண்ணா ஹசாரேவின் இயக்கத்திலேயே நானும் சேருவேன்.

ஊழலுக்கெதிரான சட்டம் கொண்டு வருவது அத்துணை எளிதல்ல. அரசியல் வாதிகள் அதற்க்கு முட்டுக்கட்டை போட்டுக்கொண்டேயிருப்பார்கள். ஆனால் அதையெல்லாம் மீறி நாம் அதை நிறைவேற்ற வேண்டும்.

ஊழல் நிச்சயம் தமிழ்நாட்டில் இன்றைய நிலையில் மிகப் பெரிய பிரச்னை தான்.

அடுத்து வரப்போகும் ஆட்சி, விவசாயிகளின் பிரச்னையை தீர்க்கவேண்டும். விவசாயம் தான் நமது நாட்டி முதுகெலும்பு என்று மகாத்மா காந்தியடிகள் சொன்னதை மறந்துவிடக்கூடாது. அதே போல, கிராமப்புற வளர்ச்சியில் அதிக கவனம் செலுத்தப்படவேண்டும்.

ரானாவை பொறுத்தவரை இன்னும் திரைக்கதையை இறுதி செய்வதில் தான் இருக்கிறோம் என்றார் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார்.

Forbes is a New York City magazine which is been published biweekly and the magazine is reputed all round the world for publishing the list of rich people and billionaires. The magazine is available in India as Forbes India and the magazine selects the ‘person of the year’ based on various parameters.
Forbes India has selected tamil actor Rajinikanth as the "person of the year" and has drawn a special article about him in the title “Rajinikanth: Who Really Is the Super Star?” in which the article tries to explain why the actor was selected as the real superstar.

“Two decades after he opted out of an indifferent run in Hindi films, Rajinikanth conquered Bollywood in his own way in 2010. The Robot set the box office on fire, reaffirming his super star status” writes Forbes India. The magazine also revealed that the Endhiran is the highest grossing film of all time in India.

"Munnabhai MBBS", "Lage Raho Munnabhai", and "3 Idiots" movies were on top and after the release of Endhiran, the movies pushed down. Not only Forbes India declared Rajini as the real person of the year but the hearts of many in India consider Rajinikanth as the real superstar.

Superstar Rajinikanth's celebrity status makes all his actions look
larger than life. Thanks to saturated media coverage, everything he
does comes under the scanner.

On Tamil Nadu election day the superstar was mobbed by photographers
at the Stella Maris College polling booth, where he had gone to cast
his vote. Some "scoop crazy" television channels caught the actor
"pushing the two-leaf symbol in the EVM button".

However, the channels had to take off the visual after EC warned them,
that "it is a poll violation and telecasting such a visual is a crime.
Both the videographer and broadcaster will be punished".

Rajinikanth later clarified that when the television cameramen had
insisted that he does "a retake of him pressing the EVM buttons, and
accidentally his hands strayed to the two-leaves symbol."

Later in the evening Rajinikanth watched Ponnar Shankar at a special
screening of the film along with Chief Minister Karunanidhi and other
dignitaries at Prasad Lab preview theatre.
