Again, NT's thiruvilaiyadal's 150+ days run had beaten mgr's EVP 175 run BO collection. Same with NT's thangapaththakkam: its 150 days collection beaten MGR's over hyped USV. I had same argument with MGR fans in one of his blog site: after giving Murali's facts, the MGR fans finally agreed that Thangapathakkam 150 days collection in all major cities in TN indeed beaten USV collection. GO back and read those interesting debates. Who made history with B/W BO most collected movie: It is our own idol NT with pattikkada pattanama. Moreover, as per discussion, USV in Madurai was made to run for 217 days just to beat NT's record 216 run movie Bhagapirivinai. Now, tell me where the hell the BO power was - it was with NT. Your argument is half baked just like some segments of undeserved tamil media who mistakenly often portrays that MGR was the only BO hero just because he was successful in politics. You need to apply a sting of common sense how could have NT survived with out BO power for almost 50 years in Tamil cinema.
