Rajinikanth shifted to ICU, showing positive response to treatment: Hospital

Superstar Rajinikanth, hospitalised in Chennai, has been shifted to the Intensive Care Unit to improve his breathing pattern, and is now showing positive response to treatment, doctors attending to the superstar have said.

A multidisciplinary team is involved, to closely watch his vital parameters to assess benefits from multi prong treatment strategies, the doctors added.

The Enthiran star, who suffered from viral fever and exhaustion recently, was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre at suburban Porur days after he was discharged from another hospital where he was treated for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.

He had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his new period film Rana co-starring Deepika Padukone, which is being directed by K S Ravikumar.

He was admitted to Isabel Hospital in the city and discharged the same day, only to be re-admitted there on May 4 for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.

உடல்நிலை சரியில்லாத காரணத்தில் சென்னை போரூர் ராமச்சந்திரா மருத்துவமனையில் அனுமதிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள ரஜினிகாந்த், நல்ல உடல் ஆரோக்கியத்துடன் உள்ளதாக மருத்துவர்கள் தெரிவித்துள்ளனர்.

இந்நிலையில் ரஜினிகாந்த் முழு உடல்நலம் பெற வேண்டும் என தஞ்சாவூர், நாகப்பட்டினம், திருவாரூர் மாவட்ட ரஜினி ரசிகர் மன்றத்தினர் பெரிய கோவிலில் உள்ள அம்மனுக்கு ஐந்து வகையான பூஜைகளை நடத்தினர்.

நடிகர் ரஜினிகாந்த் தோஷங்கள் நீங்கி, 100 ஆண்டுகள் நலமுடன் வாழ வேண்டி பூஜைகள் செய்ததாக அவர்கள் தெரிவித்தனர்.

பூஜைக்குப் பின்னர் ஆயிரத்துக்கும் அதிகமானோருக்கு ரஜினி ரசிகர்கள் அன்னதானம் செய்தனர்.

தஞ்சை மாவட்ட ரஜினிகாந்த் தலைமை நற்பணி மன்றம் சார்பில் நடந்த இந்த யாகத்தில் தஞ்சை, திருவாரூர், நாகை மாவட்டத்தைச் சேர்ந்த ரஜினி ரசிகர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

இது குறித்து தஞ்சை மாவட்ட ரஜினிகாந்த் தலைமை நற்பணி மன்ற தலைவர் ரஜினிகணேசன் நிருபர்களிடம் கூறும்போது, "ரஜினிகாந்த் உடல்நலம் பெற்று நீண்ட காலம் வாழ வேண்டும் என்பதற்காக வராகி அம்மனுக்கு வராகி ஹோமம் நடத்தப்பட்டது. இந்தியாவிலேயே வராகி அம்மன் 2 இடங்களில் மட்டும்தான் உள்ளது. வராகி அம்மனிடம் என்ன நினைத்து வேண்டினாலும் அந்த காரியம் நடக்கும்.

அவர் விரைவில் குணம் அடைந்து ராணா படப்பிடிப்பில் கலந்து கொள்வார். ராணா படம் வெற்றி அடையும். தமிழர்களுக்கும், தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கும் பல்வேறு சேவைகளை அவர் செய்து வருகிறார். அந்த சேவை தொடர விரைவில் அவர் பூரண குணம் அடைவார்,ட என்று கூறினார்.

Fans of actor Rajinikanth have been offering prayers as the filmstar receives treatment at a hospital in Chennai.The actor is said to be a devotee of Sri Raghavendra.

At the weekend fans gathered at the Sri Raghavendra temple in Srirangam offered special prayers.

They led a silver charriot in a procession as part of a special prayer to help the actor recover from his illness.

In an another offering of prayers, a group of 20 people carried fire pots and marched down from Sri Muneeswaran Temple to Sri Murugan Temple near the Rajagopuram in Srirangam.

A fan club leader in the district said, the prayers were being offered according to the wishes of the actor's fans. He said there was growing anxiety among fans and they were looking forward to his recovery.

It is very serious indeed that guy dhanush spoke as if everything is normal , he would be discharged soon everything blown out of propotion etc etc.. !!
Its very difficult for a person to return to normal lifestyle after all this even for 40-50 year old let alone Thaliavar.


We will NOT forgive ourselves if , the root cause is his sudden weight loss for a movie ! (I did suspect this from very beginning... thought
he might be on some kind of drug for shaping himself for this movie) Its really really really Sad
