Instrumental Pieces You've Enjoyed
Though we have a song thread, bgm thread, movie soundtrack threads I would like to know instrumental pieces enthrall Hubbers, and to ask for them to be shared and appreciated here in this thread.
Please post any instrumental piece you have heard/composed/remixed etc.
Anything from classic to jazz to latin to trance to fusion and whatever else fits your fancy and compels you to share
I'd like to start with some classical
One of my favourite classical pieces:
Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber:
I first heard this most touchingly used for the conclusion of "Elephant Man"
and many of you will recognize this piece from "Platoon"
The same piece I heard years later being covered by an artist by the name
of DJ Tiesto.
Yet another remix of the same piece by William Orbit:
Just one piece of music and so many inspired from it,
as they say "imitation is the greatest form of flattery"
