Was browsing the sriranjani raaga collection of Raaja songs in thiraippaadal and came across this one...
First time I am hearing this song from Ramana (vijayakanth movie). This song was not in the movie.. Was this song added to any other movie?
Awesome song.. very sweet and melodious.. has a few Karthikraaja touches here and there.. but very very sweet song..

Enjoying the upbeat songs from "Ninaika Therintha Manamae" what a lucky duck Mohan was...KJ just rules in this album..a change from SPB giving Mohan his hits...
Kannukkum Kannukkum Mothal still remains my favourite...simple, minimalistic, and KJY's voice allowed to shine, his voice is just so deep and mesmerizing...

"Engegum Nee Sendru pothu" soft, melodic, what instrument is used in the interlude along with flute? Prefer the KJ solo though.

Vaanathule velli ratham athu veethiyile vanthathenna. Beautiful and refreshing melody on a dull morning! Enga ooru maappillai came in the same year as Karagaattakaaran. Another IR number En Kaaviriye is again an absolute blinder of a song!

Gaanam Then kARROdu - thirappadal marks as unknown movie. An absolute undiscovered gem in the true sense for me. Contemplative Eera vizhi kaviyam type. Only less emotion than en gaanam endru arangerum. Absolute delight. Going bonkers over it. Rarely do I discover new IR Songs that I absolutely adore - maening I fairly have covered his output across languages. After a long time I find one irresistible knock out punch from undiscovered IR. He should probably have done more in this genre. For another MD, one genre would be a lifetime work.
