PS,
In Nila Kaayum Neram, to be honest, I could not stand SJ voice at higher octaves, but I can bear Mano there. She was not only struggling there with screaming voice, but totally out of pitch too, please listen to that closely.
Maniye Manikuyile, definitely one of Mano's best atleast for me.
App answered your other question.

I understand your stand on SJ , she can get "Squeeky" at high octaves! In fact coming back to my memories you are right, she does have the "Squeeky" voice when she says ' அன்பே நீயே அழகின் அமுதே " but I still feel had these songs gone to SPB , they would have been out of this world!
Sorry for the digression![]()

Just way Raaja sir remade Oram po I think he should remake Kathal Vanthiruchu too. This one is of my fav MSV numbers. I know Yuvan remixed it for Vallavan but the less said about his version the better.
Oh I see, the version I heard said it was sung by MSV![]()
Well, I'm not aware of any famous MSV song that starts as 'kAdhal vanthuruchchu'.
The Kamalahasan song in Kalyanaraman (by Ilayaraja) is quite famous and it is supposedly inspired from some western song.
Here is the link :http://www.thiraipaadal.com/tpplayer...6'&lang=en
It's possible someone said 'MV' (means Malaysia Vasudevan, who is the singer of this song).
No MSV connection, however![]()
BTW, MSV = M S Viswanathan, the famous music director known as mellisai mannar
Malaysia Vasudevan, the singer - actor is generally abbreviated as MV...
Sorry I meant MV![]()
