Thank you for Sunday gala photos...

Murali sir, thanks a lot for Sunday gala update.

Just a question, why there is no paper, flowers when ever NT on the screen. In our Madurai, you cannot see anything on the screen whenever NT is on the screen, there will be more flowers, papers, coins... This is missing in Chennai or it is not captured in the photos..

Also, I would like to know who would be Sunday "Allapparai" in other cities like Trichy, Salem, Coimbatore, Nellai?

It has been announced that MGR would be visiting a coastal village in Tuticorin district by name Punnakkayal by mid-day. A police unit for security purposes had already been despatched there under an inspector Mr.Nagalingam and SI Mr.Krishnan Nair. When we learnt that MGR had left the Guest House of Tirunelveli Talaiyuthu Cements, myself, trainee ASP s Mr.Subramanian , Mr.Radhakrishnan and Mr.Sekar left by car from Kayalpattinam to Punnakkayal. I asked the Sub-Inspector through wireless if he had attended to security work in Punnakkayal. He replied that he was there only attending to work. We reached Punnakkayal by the time MGR had reached Srivaikuntam.

What we saw there shocked us . Sivaji Ganesan, a famous cine legend had reached that place and MGR fans were surrounding his vehicle agitated. Along with Sivaji, Mr.Rajasekaran, President of sivaji Ganesan Fans’ Association was also there. I told him that they had not asked for permission to address a meeting there and that permission had been given for MGR. to address a gathering. Sivaji Ganesan‘s fans were adamant and shouted that he should speak. I requested Sivaji to proceed into the town and that there would be proper protection. Without addressing the meeting, Sivaji proceeded into the town with our protection, was there for a few minutes and left the place so that MGR could address the meeting without any obstruction or problem. Thereafter MGR ‘s vehicle had come with suitable security.

i was watching suhasini's pada va duet padalai today and ended up listening the song "poovizhi vasalil yaradi vanthathu kiliey kiliey" from Deepam.... What a song....i listened the song after long time probably more than 10 or 15 years... Song is really fresh and more peppy and stand tall among the crowds....would like to see hubbers comments on this song and movie. the movie was released in 1977, it's been 34 years.....WOW....

Adimai penn re-release in 5 theatres in bangalore and 1 in kgf today. A great treat for mgr as well as old films fans. Hope NT films also re-release in b'lore.

i was watching suhasini's pada va duet padalai today and ended up listening the song "poovizhi vasalil yaradi vanthathu kiliey kiliey" from Deepam.... What a song....i listened the song after long time probably more than 10 or 15 years... Song is really fresh and more peppy and stand tall among the crowds....would like to see hubbers comments on this song and movie. the movie was released in 1977, it's been 34 years.....WOW....
