M’sian-born actor Ravichandran dies
http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp...943&sec=nation

CHENNAI: The once flamboyant Malaysian-born actor Ravichandran, who shot to stardom in his first movie Kaadhalikka Neramillai (No Time For Love) in 1964, died on Monday after a brief illness.
The 69-year-old, who had dazzled the South Indian cinema in the 60s and 70s, succumbed to lung infection and kidney ailment at a private hospital in Chennai on Monday morning, reported The Hindu newspaper.
Ravichandran wanted to become a medical doctor but a bout of chicken pox derailed his ambitions. He then pursued a career in acting which has spanned nearly 100 films.

My father's friend - my father and his friends apparently sponsored him during his kodambakkam chance searching days. Used to call my father aNNE and even in mid to late 80s show a lot of respect whenever he met my father.
Didnt ever see him after the 80s.

What I read from Saradha mdm's post, he went through tough time to the point his wife had to work. Must be around 80s. Not much of a fan, but I really like his voice. Very macho.
