England 38/2 against Ireland.
If Ireland win today, it will be a huge boost in their quest for test status.
If they win test status, one more guaranteed vote in ICC for the anglo-saxon axis.
Brilliant move by England to field a depleted team for this match.
That Veto for England in ICC is coming closer and closer - I hope it happens soon so that ICC apologists here hide their face .

Boyd Rankin is playing for Ireland today. He played for England A last week.
Is there anyone else who finds this free movement between England and Ireland disgusting? How many of you agree that if such movement had been between India and some other country, English media and ICC apologists will be crying foul or satirising it?

You Mean England Lions as in England A?
His cricinfo profile shows he did recently play for Lions but not shows Eng A.

Ofcourse yes. Lions-nu sonnA ellorukkum puriyaadhenu A-nu sonnen. Other countries callit A team. England calls it Lions.
This is because, till recently, their teams were timid Lambs(and one of them actually had a Lamb). Since international teams cannot be nomenclatured, they did it to their A team. Perulayaavadhu Lion irukkattumennu.
Maybe that numerology or something has worked out and their senior team is actually playing with ferocity these days.
