I think Mankatha has done extremely well, definitely beyond expectations.
don't expect similar results as opening week for subsequent weeks.
that opening week, public holidays were on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. many companies even shut down on friday, thus it was truly a glorious week.
8th position in overall BO is easily attainable. if it gets 7th position, that will be fantastic.

I don't think you should measure Malaysia with the same yardstick as the other overseas countries. For comparison, take Mankatha earnings
