Bloom in the summer's sun and the winter's snow
On every branch will blossom, dreams for me and you
Our tree of love will stay ever green, if our hearts stay ever true
Oh darling, I love you so, don't you know that I'll be
True 'til the leaves turn blue on the evergreen tree
On every branch will blossom, dreams for me and you
Our tree of love will stay ever green, if our hearts stay ever true
Oh darling, I love you so, don't you know that I'll be
True 'til the leaves turn blue on the evergreen tree
On the evergreen tree, on the evergreen tree.
i hope there are no spelling mistakes.

"Echoes" by Pink Floyd from the album "Meddle" - This fills one whole side in the casette-version of the album.
Listen to this song, everyone and let the song speak for itself.
P.S: Though you can listen to it in any situation, with any setting, in any mood, for best effects try this in the following conditions:
Choose a decent system with good bass/surround
Switch off lights
Lie down
For optimum "experience" getting stoned is recommended
Hit "Play" and close your eyes

Another one from the Floyd vineyard.....
The album "Atom Heart Mother" (named after a newspaper headline with the same name)...
Their first major experimental shift before "Meddle".
For those who listen to it and wonder "What was all that about??".... i'm sure you'll like at least "Summer 68", which is quite catchy......

yeah ... Summer '68 is a good song -
not a single word was said, they lied still without fears.
occasionally you showed a smile, but what was the need?
i felt the cold far too soon in a wind of ninety-five,
my friends are lying in the sun, wish I was there.
tomorrow brings another town, another girl like you,
have you time before you leave to greet another man.
and AA, did Atom Heart Mother come out before Meddle ... i thought both the albums were released in '71?

Think AHM came before Meddle...
And about Summer '68, what's peculiar about this song is the fact that its the most atypical Floyd song, nothing they'd done before this or after this sounds like this one...... the versatility!

Any fan of Bob Dylan here.He is at first difficult to like, but once you get hooked on his songs it is for life!
His song "Like a Rolling stone" is considered the greatest song in rock music. It is also the most cruel song I have heard. It is about a woman who used to high and mighty and now fallen on hard times,See the way he taunts her
"once upon a time you dressed so fine, you threw the bums a dime, didn't you?...........How does it feel to be without a home , like a complete unknown, like a rolling stone,"
Then he goes on to finish her like this:"when you got nothing, you have nothing to lose,Y0u are invisible now, you have got no secrets to conceal"
I think he is best when he is cruel, in another song about masters of wars he writes,
"I hope you die, and your death ll come soon,
I ll follow your casket,in the pale afternoon,
And watch while you''re lowered, down to your deathbed,
I ll stand over your grave, till I'm sure you're dead."
His "shooting star" is a lovely love song,
Any fans here?
