Next major plot point would be Trinity's son blackmailing Dexter using Quinn (who is now on all-time low scum level with Debra)..

It's not boring. I'll give you that much. But don't tell me it's not amusing to see a cyclical pattern with some parody thrown into it.

"Homeland" build-up as modern day "The Manchurian Candidate" makes it the most interesting & challenging political show. Also, to me, the only show in Showtime that's developed with a keen visual sense. The surveillance, the mini-TV's and stuff is a throwback to fans of 70's, 80's classics like "The Conversation", "Blow Out", etc. Hope they don't abandon it, now that Carrie is in touch with Brody in-person.
It has more of a audience hook than "Rubicon", which was a throwback to Pollack, Lumet and Pakula films of 70's. AMC ended it in cowardly fashion. I hope "Homeland" isn't cut short by Showtime. But I also hope it's not outstretched & made cyclical like "Dexter"

It is one of the best dark comedies you can ever watch. Personally, everytime I re-watch an episode I find a different character funny. Top-notch stuff.
