Rajinikanth is busy with two films, “Kochadaiyan” and another untitled one to be directed by Shankar. He was to have started the shoot for “Rana”, but the plan changed because of his health problems. “Kochadaiyan” has more of digital and special effects and he has given a one-month call sheet for it. The shooting for the film may start after Pongal. The film by Shankar that follows is awaiting an official announcement. “Rana” might therefore have to wait for some more time.

‘கோச்சடையான்’ படம் பற்றியும், முதன்முதலாக ஒரு இந்தி படம் இயக்குவது பற்றியும் இயக்குநர் கே.எஸ்.ரவிகுமார் அளித்துள்ள பேட்டி:

“கோச்சடையான் படத்துக்கு திரைக்கதை அமைக்கும் பணி முடிவடைந்து விட்டது. கதை, ரஜினிகாந்துக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்து இருக்கிறது. இந்த கதைக்கும், குமுதம் வார பத்திரிகையில் வந்து கொண்டிருக்கும் ‘கோச்சடையான்’ என்ற கதைக்கும் எந்த தொடர்பும் இல்லை.

ஜனவரியில் படப்பிடிப்பு

ஜனவரி 15-ந் தேதிக்கு மேல் ‘கோச்சடையான்’ படப்பிடிப்பை தொடங்க இருக்கிறோம். மார்ச் மாதத்துக்குள் படப்பிடிப்பை முடித்து விடுவோம்.

அதன்பிறகு, நான் ஒரு இந்தி படத்தை இயக்குகிறேன். அந்த படத்தில், சஞ்சய்தத் கதாநாயகனாக நடிக்கிறார். இந்தி படம் முடிவடைந்த பின், ரஜினி நடிக்க ‘ராணா’ படத்தை இயக்குவேன்,” என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.

Shankar ropes in Rajini and Kamal

Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth may soon star together in a film that is to be directed by Shankar. Kamal had said in a function recently that he may share the screen space with his buddy Rajinikanth. This gives rise to the speculation that Rajini and Kamal may join hands and the day is not far off!
Director Shankar apparently has a script ready for the duo and an announcement will most probably be made on January 14, 2012.
Since Kochadaiyaan is to be made on the ‘Performance Capturing’ technology, Rajini’s call sheet will be required for just about 20 days. After this shooting schedule is done with, Shankar is expected to begin his project.
