My two cents... Vijay's political dream was enforced by his father and hence he attended/organized couple of political meetings. But now Vijay learned that politics is not his cup of tea and everybody cannot become MGR. Good example is his line up of movies and also recently he is quiet about politics. He went to Delhi to support AH but he didn't attend the meeting when he was here in Chennai. This shows clearly that he want to move away from politics. He even removed his father as producer for ARM movie since they had differences. Right now he his concentrating only on his acting career something which will be appreciated by most of his fans including me. May be he is not as bold as Ajith to disband his fan clubs but I will be happy if he does it.

@punnaimaran, opinion differs,if mgr was in the same situation as vijay he might have reacted the same way.

Puratchith thalaivar was never in such a situation and his joining politics was entirely due to his good intentions of serving the people. The case is not the same here, as after becoming a star he wants to use that stardom to further his own career/interests in the name of some iyakkam. That's why I say that comparison is atrocious.
Do you say that he had no role to play in the previous elections, when his father was so vocal that they even dismissed some "iyakka" leaders who belonged to DMK ??

Why does he have to disband the fan clubs? Only 'cause certain Vijay fans did those stuff all the others have to suffer too? I would be happy with just a warning from him. Not sure if he had done it or not. And even if the fan clubs were disbanded, fans are still fans thanE? So how is it going to affect him in his career as an actor.

I know he wont oppose. CM kku jaalraa aagittu varraar. My question is why govt is not concentrating on alternative source of power and fuel. But yaarukkum suthamaa akkarai illai!
