You people(BM) may request to check the behindwoods top ten collection...you will clearly get an idea about collection whether it is gross or not

For eg: Take first week collection of velayutham and 7am arivu...the no.of shows are 498 & 494 resp and theatre occupancy is around 85 to 90 and still that both collected around 1.10 crore. So Definately the movie having 534 shows and 95% average theatre occupancy would have collected more than that(1.38 crores).....

Please use your logic and don't bluffer stupidity over here ....Please accept the fact that nanban is leading in the race as of now

I loved the Movie, but I still consider Mankatha's collection is yet to be broken, possible with the movie's extnded run and good WOM, but it is too early to declare.

I am stopping here, no more digs from me on this topic.

For bo reports, they will mention net amount alone. Sridhar pillai who updates cbo details for sify mentoned this during Mankatha. Since BW always trying to match cbo with Sify’s, it must be NET collection.

Good logical question, let me explain with your example.

7am arivu and Velayutham, one film got wide release and got 95% of the big screens in chennai, another film got all home theatre like screens. Still the later one was able to make equal/more than the former’s weekend collection. Height of Stupidity, height of manipulation isn't it. Surprisingly you din't get this logical doubt that time. May be you would have forgotten to question this stupidity Or Would have been busy with some homework. Fine, I don’t care.

So the moral is, Sometimes logic misses in reports, we need to live with the given numbers. If a person didn't question the logical error since it favours him, Needs to close all the holes if the same goes against him. Giving vacation to logic as per wish is not fair.
