Poor feller. A lot have passed. If he's returning, he need to reinvent himself. I always thought that even when he loses the comedic market, he would make a helluva character actor. Some of his work with lesser directors like V. Sekhar and Rama Narayanan speaks volume of his performance. Poor bloke.

வடிவேலுவே... வாங்க! அழைக்கிறது அமெரிக்கா

அமெரிக்க தமிழ் சங்கத்திலிருந்து அழைப்பு வந்திருக்கிறது வடிவேலுவுக்கு. அவர் பிஸியாக இருந்தபோதெல்லாம் கூட இதே அழைப்பு வந்ததாம் பலமுறை. ஆனால் இந்த Vadiveluமுறைதான் அவரால் 'யெஸ்' சொல்ல முடிந்திருக்கிறது. காரணம் நாமெல்லாம் அறிந்ததுதான். இந்த விவகாரத்தை கிண்டி கிளறி மேலும் செப்டிக் ஆக்குவதை விட அடுத்தகட்ட செய்திக்கு போவதுதான் நல்லது.

vadivelu did well...
whenever vivek has to share screen space with either vadivelu or annan.. he is blown away.. vivek looked like a new comer when he acts with vadivelu..

Vivek is no comparison to vaigai puyal. Vivek has done well in many movies. But Vadivelu is another level. Comparing the best of Vadivelu and Best of vivek will give the real picture. When we take overall filmography, again no compaison whatsoever. Vivek can be compared to Thengai srinivasan, Suruli rajan, SS Chandran types. On the other hand - Vadivelu will be ranked among top three best comedians of Tamil cinema.

Some of Vadivel's facial expression, body language, voice modulation etc all will ticle our ribs like anything, but cannot be written in words! He is truely original and phenomenal. He takes a totally different route away from Gounder and others.
