thanks for the info. Yes I normally try not to watch bad print. Seeing from your post the print is really poor. I would wait for few more months. But I don't have to dish to watch Vijay TV either. This has been real disappointment that I could not even see lotus/suara/shrutilayam for this movie. Producer may have gone bankrupt and did not even care to release this movie on dvd.

Faya Kun was divine. Beautifully sung by Rahman. Loved Nadan Parindey also. Sheher mien and Hawa were catchy but don't quite sound the same today. Anyway, to me, this album never hits a high that Masakkali, Rehna Tu or Dil Gira do
In fact, I know that Rockstar itself may be a slightly misleading title but IMO DevD was a better album - rock, angst and otherwise

I liked that shehnai song. Nothing else impressed me.
Sadda Haq, Sheher Mein ellAm aahaa oohoo 'nnAinga.
One of my colleagues force-fed me. kEttuttu karuththu solliyE aagaNum 'nRa maadhiri.
I have listened multiple times, allowed it to simmer, marinate etc. Mhmm... Not working.
And I was mildly annoyed by the fact that it received so much attention which I don't remember the 7KM album getting.
My inability to articulate why 7KM was way better did not help. It only heightened the frustration and thus my kaduppu was duly channeled at Rockstar
Last year Vishalji won it for Ishqiya. That's probably what worked against him.
"Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"
