I don't need to belittle vikram. He already has done that for himself. Story selection is an important aspect for any hero, i have already said surya somehow is smart in this and vikram has to badly pickup in this area. I hate Manmadhan Ambu to the core, and i regret for kamal doing that, but in end of the say, even in that film, there are hand ful of key takeaways which are good and hailed by public. Vikram shud get involved in lot of things.

Even Ajith is poor in this area, only now, he is getting better, but atleast he always gaurantees a opening even after films like Aegan, aanchaneya. just joining with a venkat prabhu is creating expectations.

paarthy, everybody talks and discusses on news items, as if they are true. I am no different in that aspect. Everybody, incl me knows that these news can turn out as a lie. So we all knows that if a news becomes false, then the discussions pertaining to them too becomes invalid. including discussions by me. Ithukku mela displaimer pottuttu pesa mudiyaathu. All this is self-understood.

Regarding my previous statement, if i don't get the context, so be it. I have told as much lenghthy as i can, about what i think. May be i didn't understand but let it be that i am not misunderstood, especially by you!

good, this thread is getting hits but why drag Surya unnecessarily into this......... if Surya can be blamed on the basis of unverified unauthentic news reports why cant Vikram be? just coz Surya has less number of ppl defending for him (in this forum atleast)

<dig> Sakala, Given that you hate Manmadhan Ambu to the core, I wonder what are the key takeways that you are referring to as hailed by public!. Hope you are not referring to the hub reviews! My personal observation is that most of the people didn't expect such a film from Kamal + KSR combo and didn't like it. Not sure whether they selectively appreciated parts of the film. Even then, I don't know how you are drawing that conclusion. </dig>

Selva, bits and pieces of the film. Actually the film is good in parts, according to many reviews, not at all limited to hub, but entire web. Many ppl liked the 1st half & neelavaanam song

Pretty simple. I don't know about his current films but past ones, except deiva thirumagal, all were dull ones right? And whats wrong in going and asking a director, he already did Anniyan so wud be having rapport with shankar. Also, shankar is the top director now, so he cud have really went and asked right?!

Even if Vikram's market is too too good, still, if shankar approached surya and if he agreed terms, then Vikaram won;t be getting that chance right? So what i said becomes true in this way too.
