தங்களுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, அனைவருக்கும் என் பணிவான வேண்டுகோள். தன்னுடைய உழைப்பிற்கு உரிய அங்கீகாரம் கிடைப்பதையே தன்னுடைய பெரும் செல்வமாக ஒரு கலைஞன் கருதுவான், அதே போலத் தான் அனைவரும். இன்றைய கால கட்டத்தில் முந்தைய இன்றைய எதிர்கால தலைமுறைகள் அறிந்திராத நடிகர் திலகத்தின் பல சாதனைகள், புகழுரைகள், நற்காரியங்கள் யாவையும் எடுத்துரைத்து நடிகர் திலகத்திற்கு இன்றைக்கு மிகப் பெரிய தொண்டராக, ஆவணக் காப்பாளராக விளங்குபவர் பம்மலார். எனக்கும் முந்தைய தலைமுறையினர் கூட பார்த்திராத பல ஆவணங்களை சேமித்து எந்த வித பிரதிபலனும் எதிர்பாராமல் வழங்கி வருபவர் பம்மலார். அவருக்கும் அவரைப் போன்று உழைக்கும் வாசுதேவன் உள்ளிட்ட மற்ற அன்பு நெஞ்சங்களுக்கும் நம்மால் பதிலுக்கு செய்யக் கூடிய பிரதியுபகாரம் உரிய முறையில் அங்கீகாரம் செய்வதே ஆகும். அந்த வகையில் தாங்கள் கூறியுள்ள நன்றிகள் அனைத்தும் பம்மலாருக்கே சேரும் என்பதைப் பணிவுடன் தெரிவிக்க விரும்புகிறேன். அவருடைய பணி மென்மேலும் சிறந்து தொடர நாம் தொடர்ந்து அவருக்கு அன்பும் ஆதரவும் அளிப்போம்.

The Tiruchi District Sivaji Mandram has brought out a DVD titled ‘Yettavathu Ulaga Athisayam Sivaji' (Sivaji Ganesan: Eighth Wonder of the World), explaining the life and achievements of the matinee idol late Sivaji Ganesan. The DVD has been produced and directed by M. Srinivasan, secretary of the Tiruchi District Sivaji Mandram.

Various roles played by late Sivaji Ganesan, scenes from the other language films, relationship between the late actor and his fans, Sivaji as a politician, have been presented in the DVD.

‘Viyatnam Veedu' Sundaram, noted film director of yesteryears, will release the DVD at a function scheduled at Shruthi hall near Chathiram bus stand in the city at 4 p.m. on May 6, in the presence of T. Srinivasan, vice president of the All India Sivaji Mandram. Office bearers of the Sivaji Mandrams across the state will participate and offer felicitations, according to a press release of district Sivaji Mandram.

Kramer vs Kramer was a film released a few years after Dr Siva (1975) i.e. 1979 or 1980. That's a different subject. The only similarity is the difference of opinion between the couple. Of course it fetched the best actress award for Meryl Streep.
