சென்னை: சினிமா பாடலாசிரியர் தாமாரையின் கணவர் தியாகுவை கடந்த சில நாட்களாக காணவில்லை என்ற தகவல் தற்போது திரைப்பட உலகில் பரபரப்பாக பேசப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ஈழப்பிரச்சினையில் தீவிர ஆர்வம் கொண்ட தோழராக அறியப்பட்ட தியாகு கடந்த 13-ம் தேதியில் இருந்து எங்கிருக்கிறார் என்றும் தெரியவில்லை.

கவிஞர் தாமரையும், தோழர் தியாகுவும் ஈழத்தமிழர் பிரச்சினையில் ஆர்வத்துடன் பங்கேற்றவர்கள். இருவருக்குமே முதல் திருமண வாழ்க்கை சரியாக இல்லாத காரணத்தினால் இரண்டாவதாக தியாகுவும், தாமரையும் மணவாழ்க்கையில் ஒன்றாக இணைந்தனர். தங்களுடைய காதலைப் பற்றி கவிஞர் தாமரை பலமுறை பேட்டிகளில் கூறியிருக்கிறார். இந்த நிலையில் திடீரென தியாகு மாயமாகிவிட்டார். தியாகு யாரிடமும் எந்த தகவலும் சொல்லாமல் மாயமாகிவிட்டதாக அரசியல் வட்டாரங்களிலும், திரைப்படத்துறை வட்டாரங்களிலும் பேச்சுக்கள் அடிபடுகின்றன.

தமிழ் தேசிய விடுதலை இயக்கத்தின் பொதுச்செயலாளராக இருந்தவர் தியாகு. அவரை கடந்த 13 ம் தேதி அன்று அந்த அமைப்பில் இருந்து நிர்வாகிகள் நீக்கிவிட்டதாக கூறப்படுகிறது. இதற்கு காரணம் கூறும் நிர்வாகிகள், தியாகு எந்த வேலையும் பார்க்காமல் தொலைக்காட்சிகளில் பேசுவதை மட்டுமே வழக்கமாக வைத்திருக்கிறார் என்பதே.

அதேசமயம் கொல்லிமலைப் பகுதியைச் சேர்ந்த ஒரு பெண்ணுடன் தியாகு தலைமறைவாகிவிட்டார் என்றும் வதந்திகள் உலா வருகின்றன. ஆனால் கொல்லிமலையைச் சேர்ந்த பெண்ணுக்கும் தியாகுவுக்கும் தவறான தொடர்பு இருப்பதாக கற்பனை செய்து கொண்டு தாமரைதான் தியாகுவை துன்புறுத்தினார் என்றும் ஒருசிலர் கூறுகின்றனர். இதில் எது உண்மை என்பதை தியாகுவே நேரில் வந்து கூறினால்தான் உண்டு!

This advertisement was seen in all major dailies today. But MUK is NOT running in Kamala Theatre. AFAIK, it was lifted roughly 50 days back! I doubt if it runs in PVR as the name is not mentioned anywhere in PVR's movie list.

Dhanya Balakrishna here. I humbly request you to hear me out one last time with the sole purpose of ending this issue once and for all.

For all those who strongly feel that I put up the status message, I apologize from the bottom of my heart for hurting your sentiments. I AM VERY SORRY! Also, I am very sorry that I somehow became a cause for the fight on the IPL or any issue you think it is.

There are WE HATE DHANYA BALAKRISHNA and BAN DHANYA BALAKRISHNA pages made. More than 2000+ people have joined these two pages 24 hours since its inception. These pages are updated regularly and people are posting on it passionately and angrily. The kinds of messages and hatred shown in these pages have been over-whelming, unbelievably abusive and threatening. The angry comments and hate messages followed with blaring intensity. There is now even a - WE LOVE DHANYA BALAKRISHNA page that has started counter-abusing and posting messages. I am not associated with any of these pages in anyway.

On the personal front, I haven’t been able to cope with the emotional turmoil. My family heard the news and is shattered. I’m just a normal middle class girl who lived with roommates in Chennai and got into the acting roles by myself through auditioning. I have never intended to do any harm. I do not want my name to get associated with some extremist ideas and notions. The last three days have been very tough for my family and me and we are only scared this community of haters will keep increasing till something life-threateningly regretful happens.

So here I am, informing everyone – I AM LEAVING CHENNAI AND THE TAMIL FILM INDUSTRY. Hope this decision will end the abusive brutality and emotional torture for everyone concerned with it. I don’t intend to come back; I do not want people abusing each other and me. I have even cancelled all my current shooting obligations. This is it.

I am not writing this with an intention of starting off anything. My decision is final. This is meant for the sole reason for stopping everything once and for all and not for any kind of publicity.

Again, I sincerely apologize if anyone was hurt because of me. I am very sorry. And to those who stood by me, thanks.
