Thanks Tamby for your generosity. I do not know if it can grow in our climate.
Tamby, let me give you an idea.
Steam cook the brussel sprouts. Make the gravy as usual.
Lastly add in the brussel sprouts, stir fry and remove at once.
    Eppadi intha idea
I will follow this style in future. Thanks Tamby, take care, Kugan

Dev thank you very much for your nice post and informations.

If you let me know the correct names, I will ask Sumi to buy them for me.
I do not know what is chawanprash, also let me know.

You know my problem, I read somewhere that young coconut water is good.
I started taking 1 coconut daily. Recently when I went for my blood test.
The doctor asked me, why is your potassium high? took bananas lot?
I told him, no only young coconut water, he chided me and asked me to stop.
So I feel very scared to take anything now. Everything contains potassium

Thanks for the nice link also Dev, you are really a link queen

K, chawanprash is an ayurvedic prep which has some 45 ingre in it...amla is one mail ingre...other being sandalwood, honey, kunkumapoo etc... I guess u'll have to get the approval of an ayurvedic pratictioner before u can take it coz of ur health issues... for a healthy person, it's absolutely safe and a great health tonic...Triphala is also good and it's said that if a person takes it for one whole yr, his health will become so good that he'll live for 100 yrs...one needs to take a diet rich in fat/ghee while taking triphala... If u r interested, just get a copy of this book Sanatan Kriya The Ageless Dimension... it has some indepth analysis on health and ageing... buy it only if u r really really interested... illana u might find it a bit hard to even read thru the book... it's not a light read...

If u can take amla, u can get amla in honey in most medical shops...try it...it's good... I prefer the one in brine...so I prepare my own these days... and I take atleast one a day with curd rice...

Thanks for the paal ice tip K... yes, adhu oru azhagiya nila kaalam... As it's peak sumemr here, I make one or the other ice candy using fruit juices for the lil one... I've promised paal ice and rose milk ice(her fav) this week... If u have an easy, fool-proof ice-cream recipe, let me know K... with all the power cut problems here and my inexper making ice creams, I an scared of making it...so I take the safer and easier route- kuchchi ice...

    Kugan's Kitchen Part 7

Thanks Dev for your nice post and explanations.
I do not want to live for 100 years
Joking Dev, I would love amla in honey.
Seldom take rice, but do not mind popping a piece.

Dev, I will post simple ice creams for you.
Some do not need cooking, or even ice making machines.

How is the heat in India now? Will it be a little less in July?
We are all a little spoilt people

    Thanks and take care, Kugan
