MV-SJ, great combo and what a lovely melody (I'm sure it called for singers of such calibre to render a tough song like this! pA-rA, the writer who is supposedly learning to play piano and finding rAsA's songs the most difficult, can have this song as an exercise The "karuppu" keys are often resented by my 19 year old and this song sure has many of them as per my siRRaRivu )

The song that followed this in the van's HDD completely reset the whole thrill - another song that I used to skip and today wanted to give a complete listen - 'allA un ANaippadi' from chandralEkhA

What could have been a great number had been thoroughly massacred by three elements : male singer (1st prize), tsk-tsk sound in percussion (2nd prize) and female singer (3rd prize). No wonder rAsA ceased to be the trend-setter during 90's
