Nice attempt! I dint like the lead sax all that much, but the backing orchestra does a decent job.
A sure gooseflesh spot in the original is the ending of the charanam 'vizhi aagi vidavaa' where He stops all the accompanying instruments and just lets Jaanu's voice do the magic.

It is Kalyani ofcourse! you can connect many Raaja pieces from the beginning portion of this song! many are set in the same pitch as well - like kaatril varum to Malabar gold advertisement or even amruthamaayi abhayaamyi!
