There are plenty of songs out there by other composers that baffle us into thinking that they’re composed by Rahman Ji. I like this trait of certain MDs and if I didn’t look at the credits then I would definitely pass them as compositions by Rahman Ji. Hats off to these composers! I’m presenting a list of ongs along with the respected MDs. This is a list of the first and foremost songs that come to mind in no particular order.

Kangal Irandal from Subramaniapuram (2008) Composer - James Vasanthan - no way... not his style of composition... neither the tune nor the voice and orchestration.. when i first heard this song, it sounded very similar to 'sutrum vizhi sudare' and more similarities with the sober male voice in both the songs... but ARR not even remotely connected...

13. Uruguthey Maruguthey from Veyil (2006) Composer - G. V. Prakash - again no... i think both this and 'un alagukku thaai' u related to it cos of shankar mahadevans singing style similar to his songs with ARR... and the tune here is simple folk as well which ARR mostly does not chose to do...
