KN actually worshtu film. Never understood the 'greatness' and also of Sridhar's. He made good family dramas / nice entertainers avLOdhaan solla mudiyin. No place in the bests list (KB/BR/Mahendran etc).

Worst-a? Kandippa illa. ROTFL comedy-nu solla mudiyaathu, Chellapa konjam blade thaan, but his combination with Viswanathan and their combination with Chidambaram was too good. Viswanathan was as good as Sri Ramachandramurthy. Apart from this watta songs.....Nalla tharamaana, nagaichuvaiyaana, janaranjagamaana, aadal paadal konda pozhuthupOkku chithirathai worstu-nu sollalaama?

Nerd - KN is a different world. Wodehousian in set-up. although Gopu didnt get the dialogues as wodehousian as possible. But Kaase Dhaan KAdavulada - Gopu nailed the Wodehousian setup, characters, situations(down to hiding the necklace in flowerpot) and excellent dialogues. Laxmi's seceratary is picked off Rupert Baxter and a particular sequence of her being dubbed a paithiyam, and her protests adding to that claim is straight out of a Rupert baxter situation in a Blandings Castle novel. But you wouldnt notice it until the 20th or 25th time of watching. Excellently integrated. KN is much lighter - we must keep in mind except Muthuraman and Baliah and Nagesh, the rest of the performers are limited and that might have brought it down a notch.

KN is definitely a classic comedy film and was a trendsetter. IMO, Thillu Mullu is overrated here, I have watched the movie but for me it was not a laugh riot. Sorry TM fans
