I didn't mean to point out this as a drawback at all....I wanted to write a full fledged review of the movie, but ended stopping midway...Coming back..Even I felt bringing in the genetics angle was a welcome change..But the villain's character overall was too shallow and you feel something's a miss in the end. this is a reboot and start of a fresh series, isnt itso obv its again the same story, but they did bring in the genetics into it etc. Gwen coming to know his identity was good, i felt the male lead did a far better job than the prev one.
