I guess there has been no instance where ppl made crap-animation films to run and failed to support good quality ones. For ex, there has been umpteen attempts by likes of Ramanarayanan, like Kutti Pisaasu etc and most of them didn't even take off. But in this case if majority ppl are praising, then surely it shud be a quality stuff!

Remember, when 3D technology came to Indian films in 80s, Only MyDear Kuttichathan was a superhit almost all over the South, but the other 3D films like Jeganmohini types didn't take off. Its how interestingly and creatively you use technology. Above all, any Samanta movie will only do good to soceity and not even 0.0001% harm!

I will not accept that the movie is childish. Its the creativity that matters. Taking political and robot movies does not mean matured. Those ideas are copied / already filmed umpteen times. It really needs talent to make ppl clap for an EEEEE.

Let's forget animation .. the movie was also brilliant till the point sudeep killed nani .. nothing overdone ... simple and precise ..

agreed! which means what? first 15-20 mins.

animation was not bad. if only they could have thought out of the box instead of catering to the lowest common denominator

I guess, if just indian producers got lots of money, that doesn't mean they will produce world class animation. For that, there need to be a world class visionary director/artist. We don't have such. The animations mostly are just used to prove or drive a point and nothing more than that. But of course budget is also a limitation.
