I think Thuppaakki will be the big solo Diwali release. Viswaroopam and Maatran will release before that. Aug and Sep respectively. Ajith's movie with Vishnu will also release late I believe and even if it is ready, Ajith and Vijay will not release their movies together.

And the title Thuppaakki will be apt for a film releasing on Diwali.
