Watched Safety Not Guaranteed. Sort of plain until the last scene but the climax elevates the film quite a bit. Great, great ending, the ambiguity factor
There's this Indian guy, mother of all cliches, never been laid, sips on a coke when his white counterpart drinks beer at a bar etc. But the heartwarming part is, he gets to score

X-Men: First Class. Fassbender for future Bond. Otherwise very forgettable movie.

Haywire pArkala, and good support at the Bond forum I visit. But yeah, some Le Carre, Deighton type of stories would be awesome.

Have to see Prometheus, I refuse to believe Hub's overwhelming negative reaction.

I saw "The Raid". If you ever wanted to know whether Tony Jaa's DNA could mix well with Luc Besson's. You've got your answer now.

Detachment - Good performances especially brody But was mostly pointless. Most parts are Exaggerated. Is this the proper tony kaye movie after american history X ? Btw there were rumors that ahx wasn't his movie right?

He did't have final cut for AHX, perhaps why the emotionally charged tone? Maybe it was for the good? Norton does indulge a lot in making of his films. You could see that mixing with Lee's in "25th hour".
Btw, not much sample size, but think Kaye makes more of a 'detached' look-in's, despite the excess. Lake of Fire is a docu, but the 'mode' could be made out.
