Visiting to TN after 5 years (for 3 weeks vacation). This time I would like to spend some time with family and friends/relatives in shopping and eating at Chennai. Suggestions please on the following.
** Small and Medium budget Restaurants (Veg or Non Veg)
** Textile shops for purchasing semi-formal, casual shirts and T shirts in a reasonable price

Suggestion 1: Don't go to Chennai
Otherwise, the concept of small/medium "no-frills" eat outs is nearing extinction. Murugan Idly kadai is the new "Small" na paathukkungalen
