imagine this grouse...
a bowler before running to bowl lights a fag, takes a couple of puffs, then without wanting to waste it hands it over to the batsman in the runner end and continues with his runup... meanwhile the runner takes a drag and hands it over to the umpire and starts concentrating on the game.. the umpire then smokes it which helps him get more focus on the delivery and the batsman taking a run... now when the other batsman comes to the running end, the umpire hands the fag over to that batsman who takes a contented puff... and all this without disrupting or delaying the game in progress...

More partisanship and hypothetical re-imagining, making it seem like there's nothing inherently good about Cricket as is.

Things will change.
India will be in a World cup by 2050.

Grouch, footballtards in India are mostly couch potatoes so them putting the hard yards is out of question..Cricket will survive until we have kids playing it in streets/beaches and BCCI can put up a competent 11...Football will survive more as a reality tv show with more city/rural folks lapping it up to look cool.

Cricket IS elitist. That IS the point, beauty ellAm.
I want rest-days back. It is unseemly to play five days on the trot.
Any activity where physical strength confers an individual an advantage should be scowled upon.

Akin to saying Kerala, West Bengal all seem to be football-centric, maybe communism had helped.
Akin to saying Togo, Nigeria, Mali are caught in a football warp, maybe poverty had helped.
Akin to saying Goa, Pondicherry are football crazy, maybe imperialism had helped.
Wait.
I may hate on Fedtards, but it's no reflection on the qualities of the Sport.

Kind of agree with Kid-glove here, Cricket is not a physically challenging sport like Football, Rugby, tennis, basket ball, volleyball, hockey, swimming ....
