Dear Kugan, I'm back to KK after a month's break. I tried your long beans poriyal with kadalai paruppu--super!!

All were very interesting to read. Thank you thank you.

Well kambu, kollu oats, many discussions about these.
I have posted kambu, idli, kool recipes in our kitchen, blog.
You can make adai, thosai, puttu, sweet and karam kolukattai,
all with kambu.
Kollu too, we have posted, thuvayal, masiyal, rasam, sundal,
and many more recipes with kollu.
Oats, too the same, will post more recipes for our Madhu aanna.
Good to know that we are going back to our old ways of eating.

NOV anneh, thanks for the almond milk recipe.
As for amma, I believe she ate home cooked food.
Those days, we did not have junk food that we have now.
More over amma must have worked hard to bring up all her kids.
That is more than exercise for her.
NOV anneh, she is a makalai petra magaraasi.
All her children are around her to take care of her now.
What about us, onneh onu or rendu.
They will not have time for us when we grow old, or become sick.
So start eating oats or kambu
