The music for the trailer of the film was composed by Karthik Raja in late 1997, when Kamal Haasan and he were working together in Kaathala Kaathala.^[8]

What a combo! What a costly miss

It was announced that music composing would be a collaborative effort between Ilaiyaraaja and Andrew Lloyd Webber with prominent Carnatic singer, M. S. Subbalakshmi also singing for the film.^[6].

Venkiram -> Kamal has been trying to get funds for this for the apst , what 15 years . Nothing comes . Even in recent meeting with Henry Osborne he mentioned about Marudhanayakam, but nothing came up .

Any feedback - pls do give on the show . Can we agree on this format ?

We can give this to the organisers and if possible KR

1) Overall Opinion on the show ( in max 3 WORDS ) - worth the money I paid.. here and there, it was mokkai...

2) Good things about show - auditorium was too good for the show, NEP composing sessions, BGM scoring and IRs energetic / funny discussions

3) Not so good things - IR's philosophical speech (well, you can very well expect this though it was short most of the time), Parthi / Bosski's mokkai..

4) Best Moment in the show - personally, when parthi read out my proposed question (2nd question in the list) to IR (BGM concert) apart from that, IR playing guitar and the spontaneous tune for parthi's situation

People - I think most of the fans are not against the fact that he is making money. Atleast my opinion is that there is nothing wrong in it. Let him charge in crores. Let him do advertisements. let him do concerts. let him make money.. no problem. and even for this website, let him charge Rs. 5000 per song for entering competition. No big deal My point is - "why have a two classes of people - "Normal" and "premium" - with Rs.1500 and Rs.5000". Why not have just one class - and even if its Rs.5000, thats alright. But this clause of "Pay 5000 and directly go to 2nd round" is not the right method, in my opinion! Lets not divert this into "Making money" issue. Its the method of making money that, I think, is not right. Having this clause is no different from corruption! to be frank, I didnt like the concept of "Pay 10000 for conclave ticket and lunch with raaja" also. Its commoditisation. But then... that happens with lot of celebs.. so i guess thats ok (assuming that the money is going for some charity or something like that). Also, thats not that big an issue.. atleast as compared to this "Premium class" and "Normal Class".

Just my thoughts!

இதை தான் நாம எல்லோரும் சொல்றோம். பணம் பிரச்சனை இல்லை. பணமோ, நேரமோ ராஜா சாருக்காக செலவு செய்வதில் தயக்கமே காட்டியதில்லை. அனால் இந்த basic/premium மேட்டர் ரொம்ப ஓவர். அவருக்கு தெரிந்து தான் இதெல்லாம் நடக்கிறதா? அவரை வைத்து அவருடைய பிள்ளைகள் காசு பணம் பண்ண முடிவு பண்ணி விட்டார்களா? எனக்கு தெரிந்து காசே இல்லை, ஆனா உங்க மியூசிக் என் படத்துக்கு வேணும்னு சொன்னவங்க படத்துக்கெல்லாம் ராஜா சார் சும்மாவே இசை அமைத்து கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் என்று தான் கேள்வி பட்டிருக்கிறேன்.
