CHENNAI: An yesteryear comedian of Tamil cinema submitted a petition with the police, alleging negligence by his son, on Thursday.
‘Loose’ Mohan (82), once a familar face to cine goers, arrived at the police commissionerate in the morning. In his petition to the CoP, he said his son Kartik was not taking care of his basic needs and that he had not eaten for three days. The actor demanded action against him.
Talking to reporters, ‘Loose’ Mohan, a resident of Sali Street in Mylapore, said he had a son and three daughters. His daughters were married. His son Kartik too was married and was staying with him in his house. After Kartik’s wife left for her parents’ house, he had not bothered to come home for the last three days. The actor said he ate frugally, but even that was not being provided to him by his son.
‘Loose’ Mohan’ s last film was Partiban-starrer ‘Azhaghi.’ He has acted in over 1,000 films. The complaint was directed to the Mylapore police inspector.
Behind every comedian's public face, there is a sad story.
RIP Mohan saar

yes that's correct. Sattam en kayil was the first, but savaal he probably excelled, better.

Veteran actor Periya Karuppu Thevar passes away

RIP I guess he became popular only after virumaandi. I don't remember where he appeared in garagaattakkaaran.
And he did a remarkable role too, in virumaandi

This man is unmatchable. And this should be Malayalam cinema's biggest loss in recent times. RIP Mr Thilakan.

Ditto Ajay anna's post. RIP! I haven't seen many malayalam movies. But even in the ones that I watched, Thilagan was so good. A legend!
It is so bad that we didn't get a talent like this in Tamil cinema. Aayutha Poojai villan role mattum sattunnu mind la varuthu and that captain movie.
Karakatakaran?
